Oundle is built from local limestone and has been a conservation area since 1970. Behind the stone fronts on West Street and the Market Place are some of the most characterful interiors in the county – and some of the trickiest to fit out. Furniture has to be made to measure, and a lot of it is.
We support local joiners and homeowners by doing the machine work: cutting MFC, MDF and plywood to exact sizes, edging them and drilling them on our CNC, so the craft time goes into fitting and finishing rather than cutting sheets in a cramped workshop.

Oundle’s historic buildings call for fitted furniture that respects the room. The panels we cut most often for the town include:
- Veneered boards – oak, walnut, ash and cherry veneered MDF for furniture that needs a real timber face.

Oundle School is one of the town’s biggest employers and owns many historic buildings, so institutional joinery – storage, study furniture and shelving – is also part of the local picture.
