Founded in Italy in 1963, the Saviola Group quickly became a leading chipboard producer, and by 1981 it was pioneering melamine-faced panels as decorative alternatives to stone and timber. Ever since, Saviola has combined innovative decorative design for the furniture industry with a deep commitment to eco-ethical practices.
In 1997, Saviola moved to a fully sustainable production model using wood recovered through recycling programmes. Today it processes over a million tonnes of post-consumer wood each year to produce chipboard made from 100% recycled wood. At Cut and Edge Express, we cut and edge Saviola MFC to size in our Peterborough workshop.
