Medium density fibreboard
Medium density fibreboard (MDF) is an engineered wood panel made by breaking down hardwood and softwood into fine fibres, combining them with wax and a resin binder, and pressing them into dense, flat sheets under high temperature and pressure. Denser than plywood and chipboard, MDF is exceptionally stable, machines and drills cleanly, and has a smooth surface that is ideal for painting.
From furniture carcasses and painted kitchen doors to wall panelling, skirting and decorative CNC work, MDF is one of the most versatile materials available. Premier MDF
The range of product applications for Premier MDF includes contemporary and reproduction furniture, children’s toys, shop-fitting, and more. Medite Premier comes in a wide selection of thicknesses offering excellent design freedom. Remarkable board quality consistency ensures that users can complete the most sophisticated finishing and processing techniques.
MR MDF
Medite MR is suitable for humid interior conditions. It is a substitute for softwoods and hardwoods and a panel product for kitchen and bathroom furniture production, architectural mouldings, skirting boards, architraves, window boards, flooring, and general interior joinery. Medite MR is not suitable for external applications.

Premier FR MDF
Medite Premier FR (fire retardant) Euroclass B panel products are fit for use as wall linings, partitions, display panels, ceilings etc. Medite Premier FR products are not suitable for external applications, or in places where the risk of exposure to water or excessive humidity is high.
Exterior MDF
Medite Exterior is a good substitute for softwood, hardwood, plywood, plastic and metal in a broad range of applications including external signs, shop fronts and external woodwork such as exterior mouldings, door parts, garden furniture components, outer display stands and marine craft interiors.
Tricoya Extreme MDF
Medite Tricoya Extreme is a revolutionary wood-based panel product. It exhibits outstanding durability and dimensional stability similar to concrete, plastics or metals, with the added benefits of being made of lightweight, sustainable raw materials and a guarantee of up to 50 years above ground and 25 years in the ground.
Clear MDF
Medite Clear contains no formaldehyde and is ideal for cabinets, display cases, furniture, fixtures and mouldings designed for environmentally sensitive areas such as museums, laboratories, art galleries, nursing homes, hospitals, nurseries and schools. It is only suitable for use in internal dry conditions.

Finsa is another leading MDF manufacturer, well known throughout the UK. We stock a focused selection of Finsa boards, including Melamine Faced MDF, Fibracolour coloured MDF and extra-thick Iberpan MDF.
Melamine Faced MDF
Finsa’s Melamine Faced MDF is an excellent alternative to Melamine Faced Chipboard. It is available in smooth or pearl-textured uni colours on a standard or moisture resistant MDF.

Ultra Light MDF
Spanolux ultra-lightweight MDF board has a hard and smoothly sanded surface. It is suitable for non-load bearing applications in dry conditions. This board has low formaldehyde emission.
Light Primed MR MDF
Spanolux Light Primed MR MDF has white and even UV primer coating on both sides, suitable for an onsite, cost and time-saving paint finish. It is ideal for non-load bearing applications in humid conditions. This board has low formaldehyde emission.
Primed MDF
