KRONOSPAN
A legacy of innovation and quality
Founded in 1897 as an Austrian family business, Kronospan has grown into one of the world’s largest manufacturers of wood-based panels, with more than 40 production sites worldwide. Its UK manufacturing plant in North Wales opened in 1970.
Kronospan has pioneered many of the industry’s key advances and continues to lead in product development, supplying the flooring, furniture and refurbishment sectors. Long trusted by major developers and housebuilders across the UK, Kronospan boards are now widely available to smaller companies, joiners and furniture makers – and at Cut and Edge Express, we cut and edge them to size in Peterborough.

The Kronospan Global Collection
Global design trends, endless possibilities
Kronospan’s Global collection brings together decors that reflect international design trends, opening up endless possibilities for architects, designers, furniture makers and fitters. The range features intense, pastel and monochrome colours, light and dark woodgrains, and sophisticated marble, stone and metal effects – in textures and finishes from rugged slate and high gloss to soft-touch and subtle matt.
The collection is organised into four distinctive groups: Avant-garde (matt, gloss and metal finishes), Colour (solid colours), Contempo (contemporary wood and stone reproductions) and Standard (classic woodgrains). Popular long-standing decors remain available as part of Kronospan’s Local range, ensuring there is something for every project.
