How it works
GTV Axis Pro is a metal-sided, full-extension drawer system. You buy the sides and runners as a kit, and add a board bottom and back cut to size. The sizes here follow GTV's fitting instructions for 16mm board:
- Bottom: inside width − 75mm, by runner length − 24mm.
- Back: inside width − 87mm, by 84mm (low), 116mm (medium), 167mm (high) or 199mm (very high).
- Runner length: the cabinet must be at least 5mm deeper inside than the runner.
The drawer front is separate – size it with our door & drawer front sizer. Drawer runners, hinges and handles are available through our furniture fittings range.
Using 18mm board?
GTV's sizes are for 16mm bottoms and backs. If you'd like to use 18mm, WhatsApp us your list and we'll check the sizes for you before cutting.
Common questions
What size drawer bottom do I need for a 600mm cabinet?
A 600mm unit in 18mm board is 564mm wide inside. With 500mm GTV Axis Pro runners, the bottom is 489 × 476mm and a medium-height back is 477 × 116mm.
Which runner length should I choose?
The longest runner that fits. The inside depth of the cabinet needs to be at least the runner length plus 5mm, so a 560mm deep cabinet takes 550mm runners and a 505mm one takes 500mm.
How much space does each drawer need?
GTV gives a minimum installation height of 115mm for low drawers, 147mm for medium, 198mm for high and 230mm for very high.
How much weight can Axis Pro drawers hold?
GTV rates Axis Pro drawers for a load of 35kg, with full extension.
